I’ve been trying out this Lioele Blooming and Curling mascara for the past week or so which I purchased from Makeup NZ. Most of the mascaras I’ve used are usually high end i.e. Revlon and Estée Lauder range. But, I love my bargains so I wanted to see what else is out there for a quarter of the price. I’ve never tried anything from the Lioele line before so I was very keen to try this.
The mascara came in a pretty soft pink box with minimal design which is very attractive to look at. The actual mascara comes in a hot pink metal like packaging and feels amazing to touch. It is pretty simple and seems like something higher end. I was very impressed with the packaging.
The formula is slightly more watery then other mascaras I’ve tried so you have to work with it quickly. I like using a eyelash curler prior to applying about 2 coats of this on top. The brush on this absolutely amazing, it’s quite thick and curves in, in the middle. At first I was a bit skeptical but it’s so easy to apply as it seperates the lashes and holds curls as it states. I’ve read other reviews and most have said it’s absolutely amazing for for straight Asian lashes but let’s not be biased. To top it off, it has no smell at all!
The retail for this is about $15 and is an absolute steal. Ofcourse, if you’re more of a “volumising” type of girl then this mascara is definitely not for you. This mascara is great for a minimal/everyday makeup look as it’s very natural looking.
Have you tried this Mascara before? What are your thoughts?
